Thomas J. Gosnell
President
Tom was vice president of the Boston Teachers Union and a member of its Executive Board. He served as an at-large member of the AFT Massachusetts Executive Board from 1982 until his election as secretary-treasurer in 1988. He is a former Latin teacher.

Mark A. Allred, Sr.
Secretary-Treasurer
Mark was president of the Amesbury Federation of Teachers. He also headed the local's negotiating team. He taught computer education at Amesbury High School.

Patricia Armstrong
Boston Teachers Union, Local 66
Patricia is a Political Coordinator for the Boston Teachers Union. She is on the local's executive board, and chairs the local's COPE committee. She is also a labor member of the Democratic State Committee. She received the AFL-CIO Outstanding Service Award in 1990.

Deb served as president of the Holliston Federation of Teachers.

Brenda Chaney
Boston Teachers Union, Local 66
Brenda has served on the Executive Board of the Boston Teachers Union. She serves on the BTU's COPE committee and has been a building representative since 1979. She teaches reading at the John D. O'Bryant School of Math and Science.

Kathy Delaney
Lawrence Teachers Union, Local 1019
Kathy is vice president of the Lawrence Teachers Union. She also serves as a building representative and chairperson of the local's public relations committee. Kathy teaches kindergarten in Lawrence.

Catherine Deveney
Lynn Teachers Union, Local 1037

Cathy is 2nd vice president of the LTU and a para at the Thurgood Marshall Middle School.

Pat is a first vice president of the Lawrence Teachers Union and co-chair of the local's political action committee. Pat is a reading facilitator at the Robert Frost School.

Marianne "Micki" Dumont

Micki is the Education Issues Chairperson on the Executive Board of the UTL.

J. Michael Earle
United Teachers of Lowell, Local 495
Michael is vice president of the United Teachers of Lowell and is very active in the Democratic Party. Michael taught honors biology at Lowell High School.

Margaret Farrell
United Teachers of Lowell, Local 495
Midge retired as a sixth grade teacher at the Butler Middle School in Lowell. She is a longtime activist in the United Teachers of Lowell and has served as a building representative for some 15 years. She was the recipient of an AFT Massachusetts Distinguished Service Award in 1996.

Jenna is the Paraprofessional Field Representative for the Boston Teachers Union and is also a member of the BTU's executive board. She also serves on the AFT's Advisory Council on Paraprofessionals and School-Related Personnel.

Richard Flaherty

Dick is president of the Medway Federation of Teachers and has headed every bargaining team for the local since 1978. He has also served as a building representative and grievance chairman. He is an eighth grade social studies teacher at the Medway Middle School.

Paul is president of the United Teachers of Lowell. He teaches English as a second language at Lowell High School.

Dan was President of the UMass Faculty Federation at UMass Dartmouth where he is a professor of economics. He has also served the local as treasurer.

Alice Gunning

Alice is president of the Lynn Teachers Union and a member of the union's negotiating and finance committees. She is also a member of the AFT Massachusetts Professional Development Committee. She was a first grade teacher at the Ingalls School in Lynn.
